Monday morning dawned with about a 20 knot wind blowing to bring us offshore about 5 miles for our first adventure dive. To say the least the boat ride was sporty. Then the fun began. Plunge into 74 degree water with about a 3 to 4 foot chop, bounce around for a few classroom drills then dive to about a 20 feet depth reef. At least I didn't get sick, but one of us did. In true Brother in Law spirit Johnny was a troupper. Throw up once or twice and keep on going. Sorry I don't have pictures of this. After about 45 min. surface, then on to second reef. This one no better. 2 dives done 2 more to go. We decided to hold off on purchasing the dive equipment just yet. After this we must have that afternoon nap.
Tuesday morning wind still blowing. Not going diving today. Instead we will do some more fun boat projects. Clean light covers, new anchor and stern lights, fixed lights in bedroom, new towel bar in bathroom, new release clips on outriggers, misc other projects. All these of course mean more trips to Home Depot and West Marine. Desperate times call for desperate measures. We rented a mo-ped this morning and it was a good thing. The home depot bucked could not hold all of our toys and the items from the liquor store too. While we had the mo-ped we took a joy ride along the beach too. If the wind dies down we will dive or fish later in the week. Until next time love to all. To the Las Vegas girls check out what I found.
